Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Rohini Wijeratne Kavirathna yesterday charged that the Governments’ push to militarise the higher education sector was aimed at crushing civil rights and creating a population without dissent in the future.

The government is reportedly planning to make several changes at the upcoming cabinet reshuffle, reports say.

මැතිවරණ හා ඡන්ද විමසීම් නීති රීති ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණයට අදාළව පිළිගත් දේශපාලන පක්ෂ 21කින් පාර්ලිමේන්තු විශේෂ කාරක සභාව වෙත යෝජනා ලැබී තිබේ.
