ජනාධිපතිවරණයට පෙර බෝම්බ පිපිරීමක් සිදු වෙතැයි ද ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් කිසියම් පිරිසක් සැලසුමක නිරතවන්නේ යැයිද සඳහන් ට්විටර් පණිවිඩයක් තමාට ලැබී ඇතැයි මුදල් රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ඉරාන් වික්‍රමරත්න මහතා මැතිවරණ කොමිසමට සහ පොලිස්පතිවරයාට (06) පැමිණිලි කර තිබේ.

Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera yesterday said the signing of the $ 480 million Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement would be postponed until after the Presidential Election, and pledged to present the agreement to Parliament shortly after 16 November.

The Finance Ministry will purchase 12,000 metric tons of domestic LP gas urgently through the government-owned Litro Company and issue to the market with immediate effect as a solution to the prevailing shortage.
