පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී රංජන් රාමනායක මහතා අත් අඩංගුවට ගත්තේ ඔහුගේ ගිනිඅවි බලපත්‍රය කල් ඉකුත්වීම නිසා බවට පොලිසිය කළ ප්‍රකාශය අසත්‍ය බවත් ඔහුව සැබැවින්ම අත් අඩංගුවට ගත්තේ පසුගිය ආණ්ඩු සමයේදී තමන් ඇතුළු යම් යම් පුද්ගලයින් අත් අඩංගුවට ගැනීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් සිදුකළ දුරකථන සංවාද ඇතුළත් සී.ඩී. තැටි කිහිපයක් නිසා බවත් ආණ්ඩුවේ මාධ්‍ය ප්‍රකාශක, අමාත්‍ය මහින්දානද අලුත්ගමගේ මහතා පවසයි.

පස්සර මඩොල්සිම මාර්ගයේ 6 කණුව ප්‍රදේශයේදී බස් රථයක් ප්‍රපාතයකට පෙරැළී වූ අද(6) සිදු වූ අනතුරකින් එහි ගමන් ගත් මගීන් 9දෙනෙකු මිය ගොස් ඇති බව මඩොල්සිම පොලිසිය කියයි.

බස් රථයේ සිටි තවත් මගීන් පිරිසක් තුවාල ලබා තිබේ.
