Sri Lanka is embarking on a new wave of development in the health sector through adaptation of information and communication technology (ICT) with the introduction of the “eHealth Policy of Sri Lanka.

People injured by the Easter Sunday bombings who cannot be properly treated locally will be sent abroad for treatment at state expense, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinge promised yesterday. The Prime Minister gave this assurance when he officiated at a function of the National Peace Council at the BMICH yesterday.
