Churches in the archdiocese of Colombo is to observe 'Black Sunday' on March 7 where silent protests will be held in the churches of Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara Districts, calling the authorities to penalize those who are responsible for the Easter Sunday attacks.

The Ceylon Teacher Services Union (CTSU) requested the Government to take immediate steps to give priority to vaccinate all teachers and principals before the commencement of the 2020 Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination, CTSU Chief Secretary Mahinda Jayasinghe said.
