The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) yesterday called for a background check of all members of various independent commissions before they are appointed, and said a new mechanism to follow such appointments will be introduced if the SLPP wins the upcoming General Election.

හිටපු අමාත්‍ය රිෂාඩ් බදියුදීන් මහතාට ලබන 29 වනදා අධිකරණය හමුවේ පෙනී සිටින ලෙස දන්වා අභියාචනාධිකරණය විසින් අද(08) යළි නොතීසි නිකුත් කළේය.

මැතිවරණ නිරීක්ෂණ සංවිධාන නියෝජිතයින් සහ මැතිවරණ කොමිසම අතර හමුවක් අද (10) පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබෙනවා. ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් කරුණු දැක්වූ පැෆරල් සංවිධානයේ විධායක අධ්‍යක්ෂ රෝහණ හෙට්ටිආරච්චි කියා සිටියේ මැතිවරණ නිරීක්ෂකයින් පිළිබඳව පවතින කාරණා සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වන බවයි.

තමන්ට සහාය දෙන පාර්ලිමේන්තුවක් නොතිබීම නිසා ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ ධුර කාලයෙන් 10%ක් දැනටමත් නිකරුණේ නාස්වී ගොස් අවසන් බව ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ අපේක්ෂක උදය ගම්මන්පිල මහතා පවසයි.

එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයේ කෘත්‍යාධිකාරී මණ්ඩල රැස්වීමක් අද (08) පැවැත්වෙනවා.
