The Government is planning to introduce Home Rapid Antigen Tests shortly.
Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella revealed this at a meeting with Union representatives yesterday (26).
He further stated that 86% of those who succumbed to Covid-19 are those with comorbidities and 12% of among them have only received one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
2.5% of those who have died due to Covid-19 have received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine and they too have had pre-existing health conditions.
