පිළියන්දල දැල්තර ප්‍රදේශයෙන් වාර්තා වූ කොරෝනා රෝගී කාන්තාවන් දෙදෙනා ගමන් කළ බව පැවසෙන පිළියන්දල දිසා රෝහලේ වෛද්‍යවරුන් තිදෙනකු නිරෝධායනයට ලක්කොට 17 දෙනෙකු පී.සී.ආර් පරීක්ෂණයට ලක් කිරීමට අද(17) පියවර ගෙන ඇත.

Senior Medical Specialists yesterday warned that if the current spread of COVID-19 is ignored Sri Lankan could end up becoming another Brazil or India.

Six persons, including five overseas arrivals, tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 2,671 and pushing the number of active cases above 650.
