ප්‍රතිත්‍රස්ත පනත ගෙනඒම අත්හිටුවා ත්‍රස්තවාදය වැළැක්වීමේ පනත තවත් ශක්තිමත් කළ යුතු බව නිවාස ඉදිකිරීම් හා සංස්කෘතික කටයුතු අමාත්‍ය සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස පවසනවා.

A peaceful environment and security will be provided for everyone to enjoy their Vesak and to celebrate the tenth year of the end of terrorism in peace without overstepping the laws of the land, Army Commander Lt. General Mahesh Senanayake said yesterday.

යම් තැනැත්තෙකු, කණ්ඩායමක් හෝ තැනැත්තන් කණ්ඩායමක් විසින් සිදු කරනු ලබන යම් ත්‍රස්තවාදී ක්‍රියාවක් හෝ නිශ්චිතව දක්වනු ලබන ත්‍රස්තවාදී ක්‍රියාවක් සාක්ෂාත් කර ගැනීම උදෙසා වෙනත් යම් ක්‍රියාකාරකමක නිරත නොවිය යුතු අතර මේ නියෝග උල්ලංඝනය කරමින් ක්‍රියාකරන ඒ යම් තැනැත්තකු හෝ තැනැත්තන් කණ්ඩායමක් වරදකට වරදකරු වන අතර මහාධිකරණයක් විසින් වරදකරු කරනු ලබූ විට වසර දහයකට නොඅඩු සහ වසර විස්සකට නොවැඩි කාලයක් සඳහා බන්ධනාගාරගත කරනු ලැබීමට යටත් විය යුතුය යනුවෙන් අති විශේෂ ගැසට් නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කර තිබෙනවා.

Army Commander Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake said the military has fulfilled its responsibility in restoring peace in the country, and urged the public to resume their daily routine and send their children to school.
