The Colombo High Court granted permission to Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa to travel abroad until February 10 next year.
MP Rajapaksa's lawyer said his client had sought permission to travel overseas to keep the court informed, although no travel ban had been imposed on him.
Rajapaksa and five others face 11 charges under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act for allegedly misappropriating Rs 30 million through Gowers Corporate Services owned by the parliamentarian, in 2013 and 2014.
