The Rapid Response Team by Safertourism based in USA is standing by if Sri Lanka tourism officials are ready to respond, says Dr. Peter Tarlow, president of Safertourism.com.

On 1-2 July the second international forum ‘Development of Parliamentarism’ was held in Moscow on the initiative of the Russian State Duma. The forum brought together representatives of more than 130 countries – over 800 parliamentarians and experts who stressed the role of parliaments in solving global problems.

A new contingent of 61 Army personnel including 11officers under the phase 6 of the UN Mission of South Sudan (UNMISS) left this morning (3) for South Sudan to serve in the SRIMED Level 2 Hospital in Bor, South Sudan, the Army said.
