South African President in Sri Lanka

President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa made a brief visit to Sri Lanka today (27), while he was en route to the G20 summit.

Ramaphosa and the 20 member delegation were welcomed by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at at the Bandaranaike International Airport.

The Prime Minister had a brief discussion with Ramaphosa at the airport where South African President expressed his condolences over Easter Sunday attacks.

The two also discussed about maintaining peace and new development projects in Sri Lanka.
