The National Elections Commission receives the power to enforce election laws from today (15 September).

ලංකා ඛනිජ තෙල් නීතිගත සංස්ථාව ඇමැති ලක්ෂ්මන් කිරිඇල්ල යටතට පත් කරන අගමැති රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ ජනාධිපතිවරයාට කරන ලද නිර්දේශය ක්‍රියාත්මක නොකරන ලෙස ඇමැති කබීර් හෂීම් ඉල්ලීමක් කොට තිබේ.

වත්මන් රජයේ ප්‍රධානතම, දැවැන්තම ග්‍රාමීය සංවර්ධන ව්‍යාපෘතිය වන්නේ ගම්පෙරළිය වැඩසටහනයි. ඒ හරහා ග්‍රාමීය යටිතළ පහසුකම් සංවර්ධන කරවීමට වෙන්කර ඇති මුදල රුපියල් මිලියන 48,000කි.
